Kirsty is our is our practice manager and the director of Cancer Care for Pets.  She qualified in 2010 from Harper Adams University and worked in general practice until finding her niche in oncology in 2014, alongside Neil. In 2021, Cancer Care for Pets was founded by Kirsty and Neil

Giulia joined Cancer Care for Pets as full time medical oncology vet in December 2022. Giulia qualified from the University of Bologna in 2012, she holds a General Practitioner Certificate in Oncology, and graduated with a PhD after three years of study at the School of Veterinary Science in Edinburgh. G

Giulia joined Cancer Care for Pets as full time medical oncology vet in December 2022. Giulia qualified from the University of Bologna in 2012, she holds a General Practitioner Certificate in Oncology, and graduated with a PhD after three years of study at the School of Veterinary Science in Edinburgh. Giulia shares the Practice's firm belief that we are treating patients, not just cancer, and adopts our same holistic approach to pet care. She is delighted to be working as a vital member of our team within an independent oncology practice.

  Yuri graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 before moving to the UK in 2017. She has since worked in a busy first opinion practice as their primary surgeon, completing her certificate in small animal surgery in early 2024.   Yuri graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 before moving to the UK in 2017. She has since worked in a busy first opinion practice as their primary surgeon, completing her certificate in small animal surgery in early 2024. Originally from Japan, Yuri brings a unique perspective and a deep sense of empathy to her practice. She is passionate about animal welfare and is the proud owner of two senior rescue pets; a chihuahua and a long haired cat!

Yuri joins us as an experience surgical vet and is currently working towards her certificate in Oncology.

Jenna gained her nursing qualification in 2018, before joining our oncology team in 2019. She has been with us since we opened our doors in 2021 and is an integral part of our team. Jenna gained her nursing qualification in 2018, before joining our oncology team in 2019. She has been with us since we opened our doors in 2021 and is an integral part of our team. Jenna is a thoughtful, caring and dedicated professional, gained her Advanced Veterinary Nursing Diploma with Distinction in 2022, studying Stress reduction techniques within veterinary practice, which we implement in our day to day care and gentle handling approach for all our patients.

 Holly joined the team in July 2022, following a stint as a locum veterinary nurse. She has previously worked as a senior medical nurse at both first opinion and referral practice. Holly shares our core values around patient centred 

care, gentle handling and anxiety reduction for all our patients. She has recently completed a course in

care, gentle handling and anxiety reduction for all our patients. She has recently completed a course in Oncology Veterinary Nursing. Holly has a particular interest in feline friendly practice and has been instrumental in helping previous practices achieve their ISFM Gold Cat Friendly Clinic.

Joe is the newest RVN in our team, joining the team in April 2024. After qualifying in 2021, Joe gained experience in a busy first opinion practice, before moving on to an orthopaedic referral hospital. Since then, he has been working as a locum nurse in primary care practices before committing to the new challenge in oncology referr
