Cancer Care for Pets is an independent veterinary oncology referral service situated in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Our facility is located within Donaldson's Vets on Somerset Road.
Opening in 2019, Donaldson’s vets is a state of the art facility providing us with access to high sterility operating theatres, human- grade CT scanner and our own dedicated oncology suite with large, comfortable consulting rooms, in house laboratory and separate cat and dog wards to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible.
Our Vets Neil, Giulia and Yuri work alongside our dedicated and experienced oncology nurses Kirsty, Jenna, Holly and Joe and are all supported by our receptionist Diane.

She has a special interest in quality of life for our patients as well as palliative care.

Giulia joined Cancer Care for Pets as full time medical oncology vet in December 2022. Giulia qualified from the University of Bologna in 2012, she holds a General Practitioner Certificate in Oncology, and graduated with a PhD after three years of study at the School of Veterinary Science in Edinburgh. Giulia joined Cancer Care for Pets as full time medical oncology vet in December 2022. She is passionate about animal welfare and is the proud owner of two senior rescue pets; a chihuahua and a long haired cat!

Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is delighted to be expanding his education and training into our specialism.

Diane joined us as our client care receptionist in January 2023, with 15 years experience as a veterinary receptionist. She has become an integral member of our client facing team and is relishing being able to spend time supporting our pet families as they move through their journey with us.
